Foster Arizona invites you to the 1st Annual Empowered Connections Conference! We are teaming up with local businesses and community partners, to connect and empower youth, ages 13yrs-22yrs, with their community. The day will provide opportunities to explore careers, learn life skills and coping strategies, connect with resources specific to their age group, along with making problem solving and communication fun!

Foster Arizona’s Kid Connection Event: Empowered Connections Conference will be held on October 5, 2019 from 8 am-3 pm, in Scottsdale, at 6451 E Shea Blvd Scottsdale, AZ 85254

The day will include a main session, break out empowerment and education sessions, and lunch. We will have two adults, 18+ yrs, (who will be required to have background checks) that will be assigned a small group of young adults, and will help them through the day’s planned activities. Through these kid conference connections, we hope to encourage the youth in foster care to continue applying themselves and to dream big

There are two different ways to get involved. You can either sign up as a Host to spend the entire day with a group of youth, or you can sign up for a general event volunteer in a variety of different areas during the day.
