The first thing I noticed about Dylan was his eyes. Throughout the time we spent together, they were filled with curiosity and wonder. No doubt those eyes have seen more than we can imagine but yet, still, they were filled with a sense of awe towards the world around him. As we share his story I find myself thinking about his eyes and I find hope believing that someone will see his story, connect with him, and become his forever family. I believe that someday soon his eyes will experience that moment where they connect with the eyes of his forever family and, finally, he will know he has found home.
