Parenting Tricks and Treats #3

Trick #3

Children, who have been through trauma, their anxiety about the holidays, causes many to sabotage the actual Halloween night. To take the pressure off the holiday, surprise them with a Halloween Caroling night. I’ve included Halloween Carols (Halloween songs to Christmas music). Allow your children to dress up in their costume and go to neighbors’, grandparents’ (being one I can’t get enough of my grandkids personally), aunts’ and uncles’, and senior citizens’ homes and sing for them. It is a fun family activity and you might even get some free candy. You can end the evening at home drinking hot cider.
