Not everyone is at a place where they have lots of time or money to give, but everyone can give a couple minutes a week and make a difference. It takes approximately 7 touches with foster care before someone will get involved and that is an area where we can all help. We all have the ability to share videos and stories of kids who are needing forever families (check out https://fosterarizona.org/meet-the-kids/ for our videos and a link to Children’s Heart Gallery profiles). We can share news stories that keeps people “in the know” with what is going on in their communities. We can share Foster Arizona’s blog posts and other great blogs that connect people to the world of foster care. We can advocate for kids in care through the law makers and judges that we vote in. Arizona’s kids need all of us to get involved in whatever ways we can, even if it is just a couple of minutes a week.
