If you are not at a place to give time or money, please know you can still make a huge impact through using your influence. We all have a voice; through how we are connected in the community, through friendships, etc. You can share the stories you see of kids waiting for forever families, news articles about foster care that you connect with, events coming up that maybe a friend of yours would be able to volunteer at…the possibilities of impact just by sharing with others what you are learning or seeing are endless. Who knows if someone you are connected to could be that perfect fit for a child who otherwise would age out of foster care with no connections. No matter your age or stage in life, we all can play an important role in making a difference to kids in foster care.
