Connections. This one word sums up the best part of what we do. Every time I get a call that a kiddo has been matched with a family, every time I talk with someone after a Kid Connection Event and they share how they will be getting involved in larger ways in the foster care community, and every time I hear the words “I never knew”, I am inspired to do more.

Connections are the glue that hold us all together. It lets us know we are not alone and that someone will care if we stumble. Kids in foster care are no different. Getting to play a small role in helping make these connections is worth every hour of hard work.
