Royal Family KIDS’ Camp is a 1 week camp for kids that have been abused, abandoned, and neglected.

The primary purpose of Royal Family KIDS’ Camp is to give children a week of positive memories in a Christian environment.  We are there to let them know that they are loved, and more importantly, that they are lovable.

Campers are from 6 to 11 years old and all of them are part of the 17,000 kids in Arizona’s foster care system. Kids in kinship, group homes, foster families, or who have been adopted through foster care are eligible.

In addition to receiving the attention and encouragement of an adult camp cousin, his/her “buddy camper,” each camper is also exposed to a variety of fun activities, designed for their success and to build self esteem. One of our events is an “Everybody’s Birthday Party!” where we have music, a magician, and presents!

In one week at camp, we can create life changing moments for children of abuse, create a new cycle in the lives of children in foster care, create life changing moments for children of abuse, and give abused and neglected children a foundation of happy memories.  Some experts have concluded that 1 week at camp has the same benefit on these kids as 1 year in counseling.

Arizona is expanding to a bigger camp facility and adding another camp this summer which means we have room for more campers!

Camp dates are June 20-24 and July 17-21. There is no fee for foster families, camp is funded by donations.
